The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th Anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley contains a piece from one of his automobiles.
The model is purchased with a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of this car can be seen in the cabin. For example the Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet features an exhibit with a portion of the 8 Litre crankshaft displaying inside.
W.O. is emblazoned in a B-shaped photoetched air vent on the chrome application that runs through the back of the vehicle. The front grille has been designed on 1930s-inspired Onyx and there's a chrome cladding around the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille also has distinct design, featuring an aluminum shell that replaces the body-color mesh of Mulsanne. It also includes the Flying B Logo.
A keybox engraved with the Bentley wings holds two keys, and comes with a black flock lining. individual key pouches are available to complement or stand out from the key box. The commemorative set also includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and flying paperweight and a printed brochure that features images that have never before been seen of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
